Society, the way it has evolved comes with its own and significant share of evils that everyone has been faced with, though the magnitude differs. But when one is discriminated against based on something that is purely natural, the injustice becomes tangible. This had been the ordeal of the black community when they were forced to accept verdict against their favour, with obviously no fault of theirs. W.E.B. Du Bois, recounts his events of life as a black and how he faced so much animosity spitted against the blacks that he almost felt relived at the death of his infant son that will not have to grow up to face the same, even when grief tore him apart. An enlightening read indeed!
